Caldecott Award-winner Brian Selznick led a fiction workshop based on his book The Invention of Hugo Cabret.  Students visited the Museum of the Moving Image as a culmination of a study of the beginnings of film history and its connection with the book’s plot and cinematic style of narration. Greg Neri and Jesse Joshua Watson led a poetry writing and illustration workshop.
