Original Art Giveaway for Children’s Literacy

Announcing a Special Delivery Art Giveaway to benefit literacy non-profits.

Philip Stead, author of the Caldecott Medal winner Sick Day for Amos McGee, and illustrator Matthew Cordell are the author illustrator team behind this week’s new release, Special Delivery, and to celebrate their launch they’re raffling some of their original art to benefit children’s literacy.

This generous duo have five original artworks to give away at the end of March. And the rules are simple:

stamp_elephant_hiEvery $10 donated to the literacy non-profit of your choice, is one draw in the raffle.

Simply make a donation to your favorite children’s literacy organization, then email Philip and Matthew at specialdeliverythebook@gmail.com and tell them how much you donated, and to whom.

If Behind the Book is your favorite children’s literacy non-profit (and we hope it is!) and you’d like to support us in your bid for one of the drawings, simply go to our website and make a donation in honor of Special Delivery – if you win the raffle please send us a note or a photo of you and your new artwork.

Watch Philip’s (beautifully illustrated) two minute blog post, explaining the rules of the raffle.
