The Behind The Book Dog Party

Get ready for an evening of tricks, treats, and tail wagging! Join us on Wednesday, July 22nd in Central Park for The Behind the Book Dog Party. The event will feature a special demonstration by Bill Berloni, the legendary theatrical animal trainer and author, raffle prizes from a variety of pet care services, and delicious goodies for pup.

Guests will also have the opportunity to adopt a new pet with the help of The Humane Society of New York, an organization that cares for animals in need.

All proceeds will go towards Behind the Book’s programs, providing curriculum integrated literacy programs to students in NYC public schools.

Behind the Book’s mission is to excite children and young adults about reading. Working with low-income students in New York City’s K-12 public schools, Behind the Book brings authors and their books into individual classrooms to build literacy skills and nurture a new generation of book readers.
