The light in this tunnel suddenly seemed to get brighter and brighter so Jake and I decided to leave. Whooshing sounds escaped from behind me and I tripped over a rock.
"Oww, what the hell was that?" I screamed.
"You need to wear your glasses so you can be aware of things like that," said a voice.
Me and Jake froze at our standing points as the unknown voice began to creep closer.
"Why are you here? Who sent you?"
As I looked up from the bug-infested ground, I saw a tall dark figure with some kind of body armor protecting its shape. As I reached for my glasses in my left pocket, the figure stopped me at first glance and put a gun to my head.
"Now answer me, who sent you?"
Feeling type nauseous, I started to cry. "Nobody. Please, please don't hurt me.
"I was just trying to find a place to talk to my friend Jake. Right Jake?" As I heard no response, I tried to turn my bruised cheek towards him, but what I saw caught me by surprise.
"Jake!!"
I yelped to the top of my lungs. What my eyes witnessed was what I thought would never come in my days. Jake was one of them. Pointing an oozy at my back, he kicked me from the side, flipped me over and beat me bloody. "You set me up," I said as I coughed up snot and blood. "After all we have been through..."
"Oh really? After all we've been through? You're a fake! A phony! You was never there for me as a friend! How can I trust you to really be there when I truly need you!!"
"Jake!! If I wasn't there for you then you should of told me from the beginning."
