Newbery Honor and Caldecott Award winning author, Jacqueline Woodson, spoke to students about her two books, Our Gracie Aunt and Visiting Day. Our Gracie Aunt is about two sisters who are in foster care and Visiting Day is about visiting a parent in prison.
